The Importance of Company Culture at Legal & General Retirement America

Building Company Culture

Legal & General Retirement America (LGRA) was rooted with a mission to be an industry leader, built to last with our commitment to providing clients with a financially secure retirement, make our communities better, and provide a positive culture for our dedicated employees. We are proud to be a great place to work and are continually working to improve our company culture with social, charity, and DE&I events, and an overall commitment to making sure our employees have a positive work-life balance.

Great Place to Work Certification

LGRA was awarded the Great Place to Work Certification in 2022 and 2023. This is a testament to the productive, inclusive, and safe atmosphere and strong company culture provided at LGRA, and the charitable work we do in the community. To read more about the certification, and what our employees have to say about working at LGRA, visit our Careers page.

Social Events

Company social events are an important aspect of our company culture because they bring our employees closer and help us build better relationships with each other. Whether it’s getting together for happy hour, bowling, or another fun activity, we are dedicated to helping our team connect and have fun outside of the office.

Charity Events

A positive company culture is not complete without giving back to the communities we work and live in. At LGRA, we host an annual charity drive with a generous company donation match. We listen to what causes our employees are most passionate about as we review every charitable donation request from our staff. We also provide 2 paid volunteer days off and have other quarterly charity activities.

DE&I

An important part of our excellent company culture is our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This allows people from different backgrounds and cultures to come to work and feel safe and empowered. It increases collaboration, teamwork, and productivity. Read more about LGRA’s commitment to DE&I in our blog about our inclusive new office space.
