Designed with inclusion in mind: LGRA opens brand-new office headquarters in downtown Stamford, Connecticut

In 2020, LGRA moved its headquarters to a brand-new office within downtown Stamford. After the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the office officially opened its doors on a full-time basis to employees in early March 2022, with flexible work schedules in place.

Inclusive office features

With inclusion at its forefront for both employees and visitors, the redesign reinforces the approach LGRA has taken to actively participate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. The 17,000 square-foot space at 750 Washington Boulevard boasts an open office concept with multiple huddle rooms allowing for effective collaboration between team members. Equipped with hoteling desks and pathways that are wheelchair accessible, a wellness room for new mothers, prayer, and meditation, quiet rooms for those who need silence to focus, and all workspaces having a desk that can be for standing or sitting.

The purpose of these features is to provide employees with a safe space and the comfort they need to perform their best while working at the office. It also promotes the importance of equity and unity, where everyone is accepted.

The office’s prime location close to the highway and train station makes it an efficient way for employees to commute to and from work. Additionally, the on-site garage with ample parking spaces serves as another benefit to the new office for those who drive.

The large conference rooms and certain huddle rooms include TVs with full video conferencing capabilities for presentations or as a supplemental tool for team collaboration with remote employees.

Ongoing journey to inclusion

At LGRA, we strive to build an inclusive and supportive environment for the comfort of our employees both in and out of the office. Whether it’s through onboarding new technology or being open to fresh, new ideas that promote unity in our new office, we are continuously seeking opportunities that help us expand on our journey to inclusion so our employees can thrive.
