Alla Kleyner

Alla Kleyner is Chief Financial Officer for Legal & General Retirement America.  In her role she drives, monitors and advises US Retirement business on its overall financial performance and sets appropriate strategic financial direction and policy aligned with Group objectives and policies. 

In her prior role with Legal & General America, she served as Chief Investment Officer.  In that role, she led the development and implementation of investment strategy for US PRT and US Protection businesses, including evaluating new asset classes, selecting sub-advisors and serving as the investments thought leader.  Before being appointed as CIO, Alla served as Chief Risk Officer for Legal & General Retirement America. In that role, she oversaw risk governance, analytics, compliance and control frameworks across the US Retirement business. 

Prior to joining Legal & General Retirement America, Alla served as VP and Lead Actuary for the Retirement and Income Solutions unit at MetLife.  She was responsible for financial reporting and valuation, pricing, and emerging risk issues for MetLife’s group annuity and stable value products.  Her prior experience includes pricing, ALM, product development and pricing oversight. 

Alla is a CFA® Charterholder and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
